The Dual Channel intrinsically safe DAT5030ISB is a DIN Rail mount current loop repeater. The input can be either 4-20mA or 0-20mA and the output can 4-20mA, 0-20mA, 0-10V or 2-10V. The input and output is selectable with DIP Switches. The Current input and output can be Active or Passive meaning the excitation voltage can be supplied by the field equipment or the loop can be powered be the DAT5030ISB.
The DAT5030ISB is accurate to 0.1% full scale and has less than 0.01%/°f thermal drift.
The DAT5030ISB also provides an isolation of 2000Vac between the input and output signal, and an isolation of 1500Vac between the power supply and the output signal.
This eliminates the effects of any ground loops and allows the use of the transmitter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications. The DAT5030ISB is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The DAT5030ISB is housed in a plastic enclosure of 22.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
