Head Mounted Temperature Converter DAT1135.

General Description.

The DAT1135 Temperature converter is a Thermocouple Head Mounted Temperature converter. The output is 0-10 volts with the minimum span being 1 V, so all the standard outputs are possible, 0-10V, 1-5V and 2-10V. The input accepts Thermocouples, RTD's, mV's, Potentiometers and resistance inputs. The DAT1135 is programmable by a PC using the Prodat and the DATASOFT software. The sensor, range, zero and linearization are programmable. The input is measured, linearized and converted to the industrial standard. The RTD and resistance input have the added feature of selecting 3 or 4 wire for higher accuracy. There is a burn out failure alarm that can be programmed to drive the output signal High and Low.

The input on the DAT1135 has a high range of tolerance and the DAT1135 can accept any voltage between 10 V and 32 V.

The thermocouple selection type is J, K, S, R, B, E, T and N.

The RTD sensor is selectable for Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 or Ni1000.

The resistance input is selectable from 0-200, 0-500, 0-2000 Ohms.

The mV input is selectable from -100mV to 700mV with a minimum span of 2 mV.

The Potentiometer can accept resistance in the range of 0-200 Ohms, 200-500 Ohms and 0.5 to 2 kohms.

The RTD and resistance can be 2 wire or use compensation wire to improve accuracy i.e. 3 or 4 wire.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the difference between the DAT1135 and the DAT1015?
  • They both accept the same input but the DAT1135 is a head mount temperature converter with a voltage output. Sometimes this is called a 4 wire system. The DAT1015 is a thermocouple temperature transmitter with a 4-20mA output also known as a head mount temperature transmitter.
  • Do you have a temperature transmitter with a Voltage output?
  • Yes the DAT1135 has a voltage output this is normally called a Temperature Converter. The input can be a Thermocouple, RTD, mV, Resistance or a Potentiometer.
  • Do you have a head mounted temperature transmitter with a voltage output?
  • Yes the DAT1135 has a 0-10V dc output and is PC programmable and fits into a head mounted thermocouple.
