Intrinsically Safe Trip Amplifier DAT4235ISB

General Description

The Intrinsically Safe Trip Amplifier DAT4235ISB is a Din Rail mount trip amplifier that is PC programmable and is ATEX approved. The input can be thermocouples, RTD, mA, V, mV, resistance or potentiometer. The DAT4235ISB provides 2 relays (SPDT) Single Pole Double Throw.

The DAT4235ISB is programmable by PC based software which has been developed by DATEXEL to be user friendly.

For resistance and RTD's sensors it is possible to program the cable compensation for 3 or 4 wires.

It is possible to set the minimum and maximum values of the input and output ranges in any point of the scale, keeping the minimum span shown in the Data Sheet. Also, high burn out alarm or low burn out alarm is selectable.

The DAT4235ISB is isolated between the power supply and the input/output to 2000V, eliminates the effects of any ground loops and allows the use of the transmitter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications. The DAT4235ISB is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.
