The Intrinsic Safety Barrier current loop repeater DAT5030ISA is a DIN Rail mount signal repeater. The input is current loop and output can be either Current loop or Voltage. The input can be Active or Passive power supply meaning the excitation voltage can be supplied by the field equipment or the loop can be powered be the DAT5030ISA. Also the output can either be Active or Passive but with the additional output ranges of 0-10V or 2-10V. There is also an auxiliary power supply of 15 Volts on the input side and an auxiliary power supply of 12 Volt on the output side.
The DAT5030ISA is accurate to 0.1% full scale and has less than 0.01%/°f thermal drift.
The DAT5030ISA also provides an isolation of 2000Vac between the input and output signal, and an isolation of 1500Vac between the power supply and the output signal.
This eliminates the effects of any ground loops and allows the use of the transmitter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications. The DAT5030ISA is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The DAT5030ISA is housed in a plastic enclosure of 22.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
