General Description

The Thermocouple to RS232 ASCII converter DAT3018 RS232 is an 8 Channel Thermocouple to RS232 converter. The DAT3018 RS232 converts J, K, R, S, B, E, T, N, Type Thermocouples to a 16 bit digital format. The DAT3018 also converters 25 mV, 100 mV 250 mV and up to 1 V to a RS232 ASCII signal. The data is transmitted by the ASCII protocol on RS232. The DAT3018 RS232 is also available in the RS485 Modbus format.
