The DAT5020 is a Bipolar voltage Signal converter that can accept +/- 5V, +/-10V, mV, mA, Potentiometers and can converter these signals into an isolated +/- 5V, 10V, Voltage or Current output. The DAT5020 has 3 way isolation between the input, output and power supply. The DAT5020 is a DIN Rail mount and DIP Switch programmable.
The DAT5020 is accurate to 0.1% full scale and has less than 0.01%/°f thermal drift.
The DAT5020 is programmable by PC based software which has been developed by DATEXEL to be user friendly.
For resistance and RTD sensors it is possible to program the cable compensation for 3 or 4 wires.
It is possible to set the minimum and maximum values of the input and output ranges in any point of the scale, keeping the minimum span shown in the Data Sheet. Also, high burn out alarm or low burn out alarm is selectable.
The DAT5020 is isolated between the input, output and power supply to 2000V, eliminates the effects of any ground loops and allows the use of the transmitter in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications. The DAT5020 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.
The DAT5020 is housed in a plastic enclosure of 12.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
The DAT5020 is able to measure and linearize the standard thermocouples with internal cold junction compensation.
