General Description

The DAT511V2 4 to 20 mA Loop Powered Isolator will galvanically isolate the output from the input. The 4 to 20 mA loop powered Isolator obtains its own power supply from the 4-20mA input reducing cost, time and wiring. It is used mainly between field equipment such as flow meters, PH meters, temperature transmitters and control room equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers, Panel indicators, Chart recorders, and Distributed Control Systems.
The DAT511V2 uses only 5 Volts to enable self powering of the device. The 4 to 20mA Loop Powered Isolator takes up around 7/8 of an inch of DIN rails to reduce space in an instrument control panel.
