Signal Splitters for 4-20mA, Voltage, and Sensor Signals

Datexel offers a complete range of DIN rail mounted signal splitters designed to duplicate analog and sensor inputs into two isolated outputs. These devices are ideal for industrial applications requiring high accuracy, electrical isolation, and flexibility in input/output configuration.

Range of Signal Splitters.
Datexel manufactures a versatile range of DIN rail signal splitters for industrial process control and automation systems. These signal splitters are capable of converting and duplicating a wide range of analog inputs—such as thermocouples, RTDs, mA, voltage, resistance, thermistors, potentiometers, and mV—into two isolated analog outputs. Most models offer selectable output ranges (4-20mA, 0-10V, 0-20mA) and support both DIP switch and PC programming.

DAT4530: A universal signal splitter and isolator that accepts thermocouples, RTDs, mA, voltage, mV, resistance, and potentiometers. It provides two independent outputs and includes a built-in alarm relay. The DAT4530 supports full isolation between input, power supply, outputs, and alarm.

DAT4631A: A thermocouple and millivolt signal splitter with dual isolated outputs. Supports J, K, S, R, B, E, T, and N type thermocouples and mV input ranges down to 5mV span.

DAT4631B: Designed for RTDs and resistance inputs. Accepts Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000, and resistance up to 2000 Ohms. Each output can be independently configured for mA or voltage.

DAT4631C: A signal splitter for thermistors and potentiometers. Supports both PTC (KTY81, KTY84 series) and NTC types, along with potentiometers. Features full galvanic isolation.

DAT4631D: Splits voltage or current signals (0-20mA or 0-10V) into two isolated outputs. Ideal for duplicating analog process signals to multiple devices.

All DAT4631 series models feature complete isolation and can be configured via DIP switches or PC using the Prodat programmer and Datasoft software.

Frequently Asked Questions

A signal splitter takes a single input signal—such as a 4-20mA current or voltage, and outputs two identical or independently scaled signals. It allows the same sensor data to be sent to multiple systems or devices.

Datexel signal splitters support a wide range of input types including thermocouples, RTDs, voltage (mV/V), current (mA), resistance, and potentiometers. Each product is tailored for specific sensor types.

Yes, many Datexel signal splitters such as the DAT4530 and DAT4631 series are PC programmable using the Prodat software and CVPROG cable. They also support DIP switch configuration.

Yes, Datexel signal splitters offer full galvanic isolation between input, output(s), and power supply to ensure safety, accuracy, and signal integrity.

Yes. Some models like the DAT4631 series allow different outputs per channel. For example, one channel can be 4-20mA while the other is 0-10V.
