Signal Conditioners

Datexel signal conditioners provide accurate, isolated signal conversion for industrial automation. From current and voltage conversion to frequency and strain gauge applications, our DIN rail and programmable devices ensure signal integrity and protection.

Range of Signal Conditioners.
Datexel offers a wide range of signal conditioners, transmitters, and signal conditioning amplifiers for industrial applications. Our product line includes temperature transmitters available in head-mounted, DIN rail, and compact OEM versions (smaller than 1" x 1/4"). These transmitters are compatible with RTDs, thermocouples, voltage, current, resistance, strain gauges, and potentiometers.

Many models are PC programmable or DIP-switch configurable, with current or voltage output options. Isolated versions provide input-output separation, essential for eliminating ground loop issues in complex systems.

The DAT4235 is a ground loop isolator that offers isolated current or voltage output. It is a 4-wire device with PC programmability via the CVPROG cable, replacing the discontinued DAT4135.

The DAT4535 replaces the older DAT4035 and is a 4-20mA signal conditioner featuring both PC and DIP-switch programming. It runs on a lower 7 Vdc power supply, offering cost efficiency and advanced features.

The DAT4540T and DAT4540R are frequency converters designed for digital signals from tachometers, NPN/PNP transistors, NAMUR sensors, and proximity sensors. The DAT4540T provides transistor outputs, while the DAT4540R provides relay outputs—both supporting voltage or current outputs.

The DAT4632D is a mathematical signal conditioner for voltage and current inputs. It performs operations like summation, subtraction, multiplication, division, and min/max selection. It includes two inputs and two outputs and can also convert between current and voltage signals.

The DAT5025 is a strain gauge/bridge converter supporting inputs from ±5mV to ±200mV. It offers voltage or current outputs, supplies bridge excitation (3.6–10 Vdc), and provides 3-way isolation between input, output, and power.

The DAT3025 is a Modbus RTU/ASCII strain gauge signal conditioner. It supports multiple strain gauge inputs, includes a digital input and SSR output, and ensures electrical isolation. Ideal for industrial integration, it provides accurate and noise-resistant signal transmission.

Frequently Asked Questions

A signal conditioner modifies, converts, or isolates input signals such as voltage, current, or resistance to meet the requirements of data acquisition systems. It ensures accurate and noise-free signal transmission.

Datexel signal conditioners support input types including 4-20mA, 0-10V, thermocouples, RTDs, potentiometers, and resistance sensors. They offer flexible conversion and isolation options.

Yes. Most Datexel signal conditioners offer full galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply to protect sensitive equipment and reduce signal noise.

Not exactly. While both convert signals, signal conditioners often provide additional filtering, amplification, and isolation functions to ensure signal integrity in industrial environments.

Signal conditioners are used in industrial automation, SCADA, building management systems, and test benches—anywhere accurate, safe, and isolated signal processing is required.
