Signal Conditioners

Datexel offers a wide range of signal conditioners, signal transmitters, and signal conditioning amplifiers. Our product line includes Temperature Transmitters, available in Head Mounted, Din Rail, and OEM versions that fit in enclosures smaller than 1" x 1/4". These Temperature Transmitters can be programmed via PC and some by DIP switches, and are designed to work with various sensors such as RTDs, thermocouples, voltages, current, resistance, strain gauges, and potentiometers. The transmitters provide current outputs, and we also offer converters with voltage outputs. Isolated units ensure input-output isolation, which is crucial in industrial applications to address ground loop problems.
Datexel manufactures Ground Loop Isolators, such as the DAT4235, which provides an isolated output, is a 4-wire device, and can provide a current or voltage output. The 4-20mA output is boosted to drive higher impedance loads. The DAT4235 is PC programmable using the CVPROG cable. The DAT4235 has replaced the obsolete DAT4135.
The DAT4535 has replaced the obsolete DAT4035. It is a 4-20mA signal conditioner, PC and DIP switch programmable, and operates at a lower power supply voltage of 7 Vdc. This newer design is cost-effective while offering more features.
The DAT4540T and DAT4540R are frequency converters that accept digital inputs from tachometers, NPN transistors, PNP transistors, voltage, Namur sensors, or proximity sensors. They provide current or voltage outputs, with the DAT4540T offering transistor outputs and the DAT4540R providing relay outputs.
The DAT4632D is a mathematical signal conditioner that accepts current or voltage signals and performs various mathematical functions, including summation, difference, multiplication, division, high value, and low value operations. It can convert current signals to voltage signals and vice versa, with two inputs and two outputs.
The DAT5025 is a strain gauge and bridge sensor converter, accepting inputs from +/- 5mV to 200mV, and provides either a voltage or current output. It can supply bridge excitation voltage between 3.6 and 10 Vdc and features 3-way isolation, ensuring the output and power supply are isolated from the input.
The DAT3025 is a Modbus strain gauge converter. It supports various strain gauge inputs and offers both a digital input and an SSR output. The DAT3025 features Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII communication, making it suitable for integration into complex industrial systems. It also provides isolation to protect against ground loop issues and ensure reliable operation in harsh environments.
