California Proposition 65
What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 requires businesses to warn Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Exposure to these chemicals may take place when products are acquired or used. Exposure may also occur in homes, workplaces, or other environments in California. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals.
DATEXEL products may contain small amounts or trace amounts of chemicals or metals.
This does not mean our products will cause cancer or birth defects. The Proposition 65 warning does not mean that our products are in infringement of any product safety standard, or requirements.
The California government has explained that the Proposition 65 warning is a "right to know" law as opposed to a safety law.
We only carry the warning label due to the Proposition 65 law and view our products safe to use for the purpose intended.
