The DAT7024 provides both Current and Voltage output from a CAN Open network. The DAT7024 can be programmed to output 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volts. Each output is isolated from each other and the Canopen interface and power supply. The 4-20 mA can be either Active ouput which means it provides the 24 Vdc power or Passive which needs a seperate power supply to operate. The output impedance is 500 Ohms on the 4-20mA output.
The DAT7024 is compliant with CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 and can interface directly with the CAN Controllers that accept CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 Standards.
The Baud rate and the ID can be programmed by DIP switches positioned on the side of the enclosure. The enclosure is DIN rail mounted and is 22.5 mm thick. The terminals are plugged in so the device can be hot swapped. The DAT7024 is isolated up to 1500 Vac for 1 minute between the Input, CANopen network and the power supply.
