The DAT7015 accepts Voltage and Current inputs. The span of the inputs can be -10V to 10V and the mA input can be - 20mA to 20mA. The analog signal is converted to 16 Bit data and Transmitter by the CANopen protocol.
The DAT7015 is compliant with CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 and can interface directly with the CAN Controllers that accept CiA DS 301 and CiA DS 401 Standards.
The Baud rate and the ID can be programmed by DIP switches positioned on the side of the enclosure. The Enclosure is DIN rail mounted and is 22.5 mm thick. The terminals are plugged in so the device can be hot swapped. The DAT7015 is isolated up to 2000 Vac for 1 minute between the Input, CANopen network and the power supply.
