Modbus 16 Digital Output device DAT3116.
• CE.
• Modbus RTU Slave.
• 16 Digital Outputs.
• RS485 Communication
General Description

The DAT3116 Modbus Digital Output Module provides 16 PNP transistor outputs, which can be controlled via Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII over RS-485. It is designed for industrial automation applications requiring multiple digital outputs driven directly from a Modbus network.

Each channel can source up to 500 mA, with a maximum of 1 A per bank. Front panel LEDs provide clear indication of each output status, as well as power, transmit, and receive activity for easy diagnostics.

The DAT3116 features galvanic isolation between Modbus communication, power supply, and outputs, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Additional safety features include a watchdog function and a short-circuit alarm.

Configuration is carried out using the free DAT3000–DAT10000 configuration software, available from the Datexel download page.
