General Description

The DAT3138 Modbus Relay Output Module provides 8 independent relay outputs, controlled via Modbus RTU over RS-485. It is designed for industrial automation applications requiring reliable relay switching directly from a Modbus network.

Each output is a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) relay, isolated from each other, the power supply, and the Modbus line. The relays are rated for 2 A at 250 VAC or 30 VDC, with 1000 Vac isolation between contacts and 4000 Vac isolation between contact and coil.

Front panel LEDs provide clear indication of power, transmit/receive communication, and the status of each relay output. Configuration of the DAT3138 is performed using the free DAT3000–DAT10000 software, available from the Datexel download page.
