The DAT3188-8 is an 8 channel digital input and 8 channel digital output to Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII converter using RS485 or RS232. The DAT3188-8 accepts an input in the range of 10 to 30 Volts as on and below 3V as off. The output is in the range between 10.5 and 30 volts with a maximum current load of 0.5 Amp per channel to a maximum of 1 Amp per module.
The inputs, output, serial port, and power supply are isolated from each other up to 2000VAC for 1 minute. The DAT3188-8 accepts a wide tolerance on its power supply from 10 to 30 Vdc and is mounted on DIN Rail.
