General Description

The DAT3680IOT Industrial IoT Gateway is designed to facilitate seamless communication between field devices and cloud-based platforms using Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and MQTT with SSL/TLS authentication. Engineered for Industry 4.0 applications, this gateway is compact and DIN rail mountable, making it ideal for installation in industrial control panels.

Equipped with an RS485 serial interface for Modbus RTU master and an Ethernet interface for Modbus TCP master, the DAT3680IOT enables real-time data acquisition from multiple field devices. The collected data is securely transmitted to cloud services via the MQTT protocol, supporting Amazon AWS, IBM Watson IoT, and Mosquitto.

Configuration is simple via an integrated web server, allowing users to define and manage Modbus devices. It also supports a preloaded library of DAT3000, DAT8000, and DAT10000 series devices, with the ability to add custom Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP devices.

Designed for reliability in industrial environments, the DAT3680IOT features galvanic isolation, EMC compliance, and LED indicators for quick diagnostics. A built-in watchdog circuit ensures uninterrupted operation with an automatic reset function. The 10V–30V DC power input is protected against polarity reversal, enhancing device longevity.
