The DAT1010-OEM is an OEM temperature transmitter PCB board designed to fit in any small enclosure. It can be pre-programmed to customer settings, or a connector can be supplied for configuration with the Prodat programmer and Prosoft software, available from Datexel.
The DAT1010-OEM accepts signals from RTDs, mV, resistance, and potentiometers, converting these signals into a 4-20mA output. The sensor type, range, zero, and linearization are programmable with Prodat software.
The input is measured, linearized, converted, and then scaled to the industrial standard of a 4-20mA signal (2-wire device). The RTD sensor is selectable for Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, or Ni1000. The resistance input is selectable from 0-200 Ohms, 0-500 Ohms, or 0-2000 Ohms. The mV input is selectable from -100mV to 700mV, with a minimum span of 2mV. The potentiometer input can accept resistance ranges of 0-200 Ohms, 200-500 Ohms, and 0.5 to 2 kOhms.
RTD and resistance inputs can be configured for 2-wire or use compensation wires for improved accuracy (3 or 4-wire). There is an option to program the burnout failure alarm on the 4-20mA signal to high (20mA) or low (4mA). The power supply to the temperature transmitter has a high tolerance range and can accept voltages between 10 and 32 Volts. The DAT1010 temperature transmitter is loop-powered (2-wire).
