General Description

The DAT4631B RTD Signal Splitter is a DIN rail mount, isolated signal conditioner designed to duplicate RTD or resistance inputs into two identical analog outputs. It accepts RTDs (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000) or resistance signals up to 2000 Ω, and provides two independent, isolated voltage or current outputs that are temperature-linearized.

The DAT4631B is ideal for applications where one sensor signal needs to be shared with two different systems — such as a PLC and a recorder — without loss of accuracy or risk of loading effects. Each output is fully isolated from the input, power supply, and from each other to ensure signal integrity and system safety.

Configuration can be performed via PC software or DIP switches, making setup flexible in both factory and field environments. With high accuracy, low thermal drift, and versatile output options, the DAT4631B is the reliable solution for duplicating RTD/resistance signals in industrial automation and monitoring applications.

Frequently Asked Questions – DAT4631B

What is the difference between the DAT4631B and the DAT4531B?
The DAT4531B is a single-channel isolated converter with one input and one output. The DAT4631B is a splitter — it takes one RTD/resistance input and provides two independent, isolated outputs.
Which sensors are supported?
It supports RTDs such as Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, and Ni1000, as well as resistance inputs up to 2000 Ω.
What outputs does it provide?
The DAT4631B provides two identical, isolated analog outputs that can be configured as current (e.g., 4–20 mA) or voltage (e.g., 0–10 V).
Are the two outputs isolated from each other?
Yes. The two outputs are galvanically isolated from each other, from the input, and from the power supply.
Why would I use a signal splitter?
Signal splitters are used when one sensor input needs to be transmitted to two independent devices — for example, feeding both a PLC and a data logger — without degrading the measurement.
How is the DAT4631B configured?
Configuration can be done via PC software for fast setup or via DIP switches for manual field programming.
