General Description

The DAT4532B Dual-Channel RTD / Resistance Converter is a high-performance, DIN rail mount, isolated signal conditioner for precise temperature and resistance measurement on two independent channels. It accepts a wide range of RTDs — Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000 — as well as resistance inputs up to 2000 Ω, and provides temperature-linearized analog outputs in current or voltage format.

Each channel is independently configurable and features full galvanic isolation between input, output, and power supply — as well as channel-to-channel isolation — to eliminate ground loops and ensure signal integrity in multi-sensor systems. Typical outputs include 4–20 mA or 0–10 V, selectable to match PLC/DAQ requirements.

Configuration can be performed via PC software for fast, precise setup or via DIP switches for field adjustability. As the dual version of the DAT4531B, the DAT4532B reduces DIN rail space and cost per channel while maintaining accuracy, stability, and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions – DAT4532B

What is the difference between the DAT4531B and the DAT4532B?
The DAT4531B is a single-channel isolated RTD/resistance converter. The DAT4532B is the dual-channel version, providing two completely independent inputs and outputs in one DIN rail module.
Which sensors are supported?
Both models support Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000 RTDs, plus resistance inputs up to 2000 Ω.
Are the two channels isolated from each other?
Yes. Each channel in the DAT4532B has galvanic isolation from the other channel, as well as from the power supply and outputs, preventing ground loop issues.
What outputs are available?
Each channel can be configured independently for a current output (e.g., 4–20 mA) or a voltage output (e.g., 0–10 V).
How is the device configured?
Configuration can be performed with PC software for fast setup or DIP switches for field use. Fine zero/span adjustment is also available.
What applications benefit from the DAT4532B?
It is ideal for multi-zone temperature monitoring, redundant sensor measurement, or applications where two isolated RTD/resistance channels are needed in one compact DIN rail device.
