The DAT3140 is an 4 channel digital input and 8 channel digital output to Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII converter using RS485. The DAT3140 accepts an input in the range of 10 to 30 Volts as on and below 3V as off. The output is up to 30 volts with a maximum current load of 0.6 Amp per channel to a maximum of 3 Amp per module.
The inputs and outputs are isolated from each other up to 1000 Vac. The serial port and power supply are isolated from each other up to 2000VAC for 1 minute. The DAT3188-8 accepts a wide tolerance on its power supply from 10 to 30 Vdc and is mounted on DIN Rail.
