The Dual Channel RTD Pt100 Temperature Transmitter DAT2066 is a DIN rail-mount transmitter with DIP switch programmability, designed to accept and transmit two separate channels and convert them to 2 x 4-20 mA outputs. It offers an accuracy of 0.1% full scale and has less than 0.02%/°F thermal drift.
The coarse range and zero can be set using the DIP switches, with fine-tuning of the output achievable via potentiometers within the minimum and maximum ranges specified in the datasheet. The DAT2066 accepts both 2-wire and 3-wire RTDs.
The DAT2066 complies with the 89/336/CEE standard on Electromagnetic Compatibility. It is housed in a plastic enclosure with a 12.5 mm thickness, suitable for DIN rail mounting per EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
Calibration of zero and span values is performed using the ZERO and SPAN potentiometers located on the top of the device. The DAT2066 is isolated between the two channels up to 1000V, eliminating the effects of ground loops and allowing use in harsh industrial environments.
