Loop Powered Isolators Series
The DAT511V2 4 to 20 mA Loop Powered Isolator galvanically isolates the output from the input and is powered by the 4-20mA input, reducing cost, time, and wiring. It is primarily used between field equipment (e.g., flow meters, PH meters, temperature transmitters) and control room equipment (e.g., PLCs, panel indicators, chart recorders, DCS). It requires only 5 volts for self-powering and occupies about 7/8 inch of DIN rail space.
The DAT512 is a dual loop-powered isolator for 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signals, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. It isolates two analog signals from field equipment to the control room, saving cost and space. The DAT512 uses the input signal for power and complies with the 89/336/EEC standard for Electromagnetic Compatibility. It is housed in a 22.5 mm thick plastic enclosure for DIN rail mounting per EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
